In my painting “Rooted in Rocks,” I capture the stunning beauty of Capitol Reef, Utah. The vibrant reds and oranges of the rock formations contrast beautifully with the deep greens of the desert flora. I wanted to showcase how life thrives in such a rugged landscape, with roots gripping the stone and creating a sense of resilience and harmony. It reminds me of the strength found in nature, even in the harshest conditions.
